Our Mission
We all have enjoyed moving at some point in our lives, whether it was playing tag, dancing, or organized sports. For some reason, there is a lack of connection between this joy and movement when we call it exercise. The connotations are perceived by many in the general public, and hence their kids, as tough or a necessary evil and even something to be avoided.
Fitness programs for kids (or kids at heart) should be fun first- get everyone involved without judgement but just for the pure joy of moving! The fitness will follow.
By instilling Fun and invigorating physical activity through fundamental movement and coordination YouthFit not only provides a solution to improve the health of our children but also helps to get them to where they need to be in sport and life when it really matters... when they've stopped growing.
Our programs are delivered by Ceritfied Youth Fitness Specialists and are designed for the young child through to the adolescent athlete and Are Not adult based programs watered down. We want to give our youth the skills to build a broad base of experience and knowledge that will help them to continue reaching for the next level.

YouthFit programs incorporate the concept of games and free play to stimulate learning capacity and creativity, build resilience, confidence, self esteem and the pure enjoyment of physical activity so that our youth can regain and retain a physical culture for New Zealanders.
We take an athlete centred approach to everything we do at YouthFit and strive to give the “game” back to our youth.
